She also enjoys hanging out at a local farm where she leases a sweet horse named Sophie.
History
Born out of Dennis Mattingly’s passion for helping people with their real estate transactions, Mattingly Ford has served the greater Louisville community for more than 20 years. As our team has grown, so have our areas of expertise. Together, we offer a wealth of information in a variety of legal topics.
Our estate planning work blossomed with the addition of Emily C. Moore in February 2018. Dennis met Emily through their mutual passion for the community and involvement with Northeast Christian Church. Emily had recently acquired The Smith Law Firm in Oldham County, after she gained years of wealth and knowledge under the tutelage of Harold Smith.
Community Engagement
Dennis loves to support ministries that help kids in need. He’s volunteered his time for many years to Northeast Christian Church, and is an avid supporter of Compassion International where he sponsors a number of children.
David’s conviction to help people meet the basic needs of food and housing (not to mention his work with real estate law) motivates him to support our local branches of Habitat for Humanity and The Salvation Army.
Emily’s passion for helping those in need is what drives her continued commitment to our community, and her work as your preferred estate planning professional. Currently, Emily:
- Serves as Chairwoman of the Grants Committee for the Oldham County Community Foundation
- Serves with Greater Louisville Youth for Christ, where she was employed for many years mentoring young girls in need
- Sits on the Development Committee of BsideU4Life, helping ladies in pregnancy crisis
- Mentors women who have recently been released from prison through Prodigal Ministries
- Hosts weekly women’s bible study groups in her home
